To be able to work in either Australia or New Zealand as a migrant worker, in general you will need to have skills, English ability, qualifications and experience. Immigration requirements mean that jobs for unskilled labour are often more difficult to get a visa for, so if you are looking for very basic work, it is generally best that you do something to upskill yourself first.

Australia and New Zealand have different systems and different requirements, as well as different restrictions and opportunities. You should think about where you want to work, but  we can also provide guidance about where your skills will be most welcome and have the best chance of getting a visa.

 

Getting started

The first thing to do to get started is to send an enquiry message using the form on this page, or send an email directly to admin@employsavvy.nz and make sure you include your CV and some basic information about yourself. Our staff will then contact you and start the process of onboarding you to our system.

 

Costs and process

To sign up is free, and for this we will add you to our database so that we can start matching you with employment opportunities which will include some basic processing of your information. Once we determine that you have a reasonable chance at getting a job offer, we will start preparing you and preparing your documents to be ready for the job interview. At this time a service fee (from NZD $500) is payable. This service fee includes:

  • CV preparation
  • Cover letter prerparation
  • References and qualifications background work
  • Job interview guidance
  • Introductions and liaising with employers

This is the only fee you pay for our sevice, but on receiving a job offer and signing an employment agreement, a NZD $1000 bond is payable. This bond will be returned to you in full after 3 months of successful employment as an assurance to your employer that you are a suitable employee.

Visa

EmploySavvy Ltd has close connections to Ozzealand Migration Ltd where registered MARA agents and Licensed Immigration Advisers will handle all aspects of your migration pathway. Costs and fees for Ozzealand's services are not part of our fees, but we can get good rates for you. Once you have the job offer and have signed the employment agremeent, the vsa application is usually the next step.

Once your visa is approved, come to your chosen country start work and enjoy your new life.
